Usage Recommendations
Every root has its soil, and every person has their own story…
Simana used to say: “A tree’s strength lies not only in its branches, but in the story of its roots, entrusted to the depths of the earth.”
Berkem Kapısı is a personal ritual inspired by the ancient symbolism of the earth, the narratives of the root chakra, and respect for one’s own boundaries.
You can begin this ritual by setting aside some time just for yourself, without rushing.
✦ First Threshold – Remembering
the Earth In Simana’s world, the earth is a symbol of patience, continuity, and belonging.
For a moment, imagine an ancient tree whose roots extend deep into the earth. Seasons change, winds blow; yet the tree’s story cannot be separated from its roots.
Ask yourself this question: “Where are my
roots? What are the values that make me who I am?”
✦ Second Threshold – Berkem’s Walls
The walls rising around ancient castles remind us of the value of what lies within.
In Berkem’s tale, these walls symbolize personal boundaries and the space one sets aside for oneself.
Think of three things in your life that you find worth protecting. These could be a memory, a value, a relationship, or simply some time just for yourself.
✦ Third Threshold – The Seal
of the Roots In Simana’s ancient narrative, the root chakra, the earth element, and symbols of protection are different parts of the same tale.
If you’d like, write down an intention for yourself on a small piece of paper: “I remember my
roots. I honor my own boundaries and my journey.”
You can keep this intention in your ritual journal and consider it Berkem’s symbolic seal.
✦ Completing
the Ritual You can incorporate each piece of the Berkem Gate Set into your personal ritual solely in accordance with its intended use, the instructions on the packaging, and the safety warnings.
You do not need to use all the products at the same time or repeat the ritual at specific intervals. Each ritual can be shaped according to the individual’s own preferences and intentions.
Because Simana knows that a person’s oldest refuge is sometimes not a castle, but the memory they carry of their own roots.

BERKEM GATE SET – ROOTING & GROUNDING
$77.37
Rooting • Grounding • Belonging
Sometimes a person feels like a leaf in the wind. Paths multiply, directions shift, and one longs to remember which soil they belong to.
Simana once said: “The strongest tree is not the one that never bends in the wind; it is the one that never forgets where its roots extend.”
In Simana’s ancient narrative, Berkem symbolizes a castle surrounded by sturdy walls, a sheltered sanctuary, and a threshold that cannot be easily crossed.
But not every castle’s walls are built of stone. Some are born of memories, some of a sense of belonging, and some of a person’s attachment to their own roots.
The Berkem Gate Set is a special ritual collection inspired by the ancient symbolism of the earth, brought together around the themes of grounding, connection to the earth, belonging, and inner strength.
Each piece carries a symbolic meaning that reminds us of the earth’s patience, the depth of our roots, and the place we belong in our own story.
The goal is not to become stronger, but to remember our roots, our boundaries, and our place in our own story.
Because Simana knows that behind every branch reaching toward the sky lies a story of roots told to the earth.
